Job summary

Tential Solutions is seeking a Cloud Storage Lead Contractor to drive design, implementation, and operations of enterprise cloud storage in AWS. You will lead FSx ONTAP implementations and advocate best practices for secure, scalable, and cost-efficient storage.

You will partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Applications teams to deliver resilient storage solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, with strong focus on automation and architecture excellence.

Qualifications

Hands-on AWS design, implementation, and management experience.
Experience with enterprise cloud storage architecture and FSx ONTAP.
Proven ability to implement migrations in cloud or hybrid setups.
Proficient with Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, and architecture.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices; containerization knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and operations of enterprise cloud storage in AWS.
Develop storage strategy, standards, and best practices.
Build scalable, secure, resilient storage architectures.
Automate provisioning and deployment with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitor performance, availability, and cost; optimize accordingly.
Support large-scale migrations across cloud and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and applications teams.
Implement security controls, identity management, and access policies.
Support DR, business continuity, and data resiliency strategies.
Document architectures, configurations, and operational processes.
Lead continuous improvements and cloud engineering best practices.
