Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a results-oriented Software Development Manager to lead the AWS Partner Systems team in Austin, TX. You will recruit, mentor, and guide engineers and Salesforce Developers, driving the design and delivery of secure, scalable services across cloud and on-prem integrations.

You should be a builder with experience in service-oriented architecture using Java, Python, or C++.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience.
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++ experience.
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture experience.
• 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Hire aggressively to build a high-functioning team of Software Development Engineers and Salesforce Developers.
• Work with senior leaders to define and drive organizational vision and goals.
• Design, build, and manage services that are secured, scalable, highly available, performant, and robust.
