The Software Development Manager works on major implementation projects for the central gaming system software group. The manager is the primary owner of all aspects of software delivery, from ensuring requirements are clear to starting to sell and cash lottery products. This includes planning and monitoring any data conversion. New features, reports, interfaces, and the people who develop them are the responsibility of the manager. This is a challenging and rewarding position that is highly respected within Scientific Games. All this requires a good mix of technical skill, verbal and written communication skills, project and personnel management. The day‑to‑day job is to manage people, projects, guide software direction, review and gather requirements, drive estimation and deliver against those estimates.
