Job summary

Conagra Brands invites engineering-minded students to a 11-week internship in Omaha, NE. You’ll explore Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, robotics, and IoT within a Fortune 500 enterprise, building real projects and a portfolio under mentorship from our Software Engineering community.

Expect hands-on experience, professional development sessions, and opportunities to network across the company, with relocation and housing support as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program with at least 1 semester remaining after the internship.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar majors.
• Willing to relocate to Omaha, NE for the duration of the internship.

What Can You Expect from Your Internship?

Over 11 weeks, you'll get your hands on some of the most exciting technology in enterprise software, AI agents, emerging tech, and the platforms shaping how a Fortune 500 company operates at scale. This isn't routine. You'll explore how cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, and IoT can solve real problems across a business that touches millions of consumers. You'll prototype, experiment, and build, contributing to projects that actually matter, on a team that's actively pushing what's possible. The platforms you'll work in: Azure AI — building intelligent applications in the cloud, GitHub Copilot — coding alongside AI in a real enterprise engineering environment, Emerging tech — robotics, IoT, and AI agents grounded in real business problems. You'll be paired with a mentor from our Software Engineering community who'll help you navigate the stack, connect you to the right people, and push your thinking. By the end of the summer you'll have real projects in your portfolio, deep experience with enterprise AI and software platforms, and a network inside one of the largest CPG companies in the country.

Internship Details

• When: May 24 - August 6, 2027
• Location(s): Omaha, NE
• Schedule: Interns should expect to work 40 hours/week
• Intern compensation starts at $23/hr
• Hourly Rate: $20-28
• Intern Benefits: paid holidays, relocation and housing assistance, learning and development live sessions, LinkedIn Learning, travel to Omaha campus for Intern Orientation and End of Summer Celebration
• All interns participate in two days of orientation in Omaha.
• You’ll receive professional development before and during the internship.
• Network with and learn from our leaders across the company.
• Summer Hours: Offices close at 1 p.m. on Friday.
• Summer relocation and housing is provided by Conagra as needed.
• Summer Send Off: Come back to Omaha to celebrate and give back to the community.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a degree program with at least 1 semester remaining after the internship program concludes
• Are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar majors best suited for this position
• You are willing to relocate to Omaha, NE for the duration of your internship
