Job summary

National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Application Development Division in a hybrid role. You will collaborate with software developers and possibly support staff to design and maintain enterprise software and mobile applications used by utilities and broadband providers.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field.
Strong customer orientation and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Performs basic research, design and development of software systems.
Researches, analyzes, and resolves basic software maintenance.
Assists in the enhancement and maintenance of applications within our Development Division.
Follows established software development methodologies and procedures.
Performs quality testing at unit and system integration levels.
Reviews and prioritizes change requests.
Ensures information is entered in Confluence and iVUE Support tool.
