NISC is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Application Development Division, collaborating with teammates to design, build, and maintain enterprise solutions for utilities and broadband customers.

The role supports multiple platforms including web and mobile apps, requires familiarity with Java and OO concepts, HTML/CSS, databases, and cloud technologies, and includes a hybrid schedule with in-office days at Cedar Rapids, IA, Lake Saint Louis MO, or Mandan ND.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field.

Aufgaben

• Performs basic research, design and development of software systems.
• Researches, analyzes, and resolves basic software maintenance.
• Assists in the enhancement and/or maintenance of application programs in the business areas listed above within our Application Development Division.
• Follows all established software development methodologies and procedures.
• Performs quality testing as it relates to both unit and system integration dependent on the tasks assigned.
• Reviews and prioritizes assigned change requests.
• Documents information in Confluence or the iVUE Support tool.
