Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer to join the Connect Telecom Engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will own end-to-end code and work across SIP/VoIP, modern web services, and distributed systems, building scalable telecom infrastructure with a strong customer focus.

The role emphasizes solving complex engineering problems, mentoring peers, and delivering resilient voice capabilities for Amazon Connect at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (patterns, reliability and scaling) of systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software apps and services in languages listed.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own code end-to-end from design to development with teammates.
• Work across stack with SIP/VoIP, web services, NoSQL databases, distributed systems.
• Improve SBC platform and carrier management systems' operations.
• Mentor others and participate in design and reviews.
