Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise is seeking an IT Software Engineer to configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third-party applications across the software lifecycle. You will create and analyze software specifications, research, design, document, modify and support software throughout development.

Collaborate with IT, information security and technology teams to deliver scalable security solutions, analyze system issues and ensure changes consider upstream/downstream impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years experience.
• Developing RESTful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#, and Object Oriented Programming preferably .NET.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies.
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies.
• GitHub Copilot or other Code Generation Utilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering and implementation of application security solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.
• Analyze and troubleshoot systems issues.
• Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and performance analysis of real-time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.
