Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build a data management platform for robotics and AI. You will own the lifecycle of your code from design through deployment in a cloud-first, scalable environment.

We look for candidates with 3+ years of professional software development experience and proficiency in C#, C++, Java, or Perl, plus architecture/design experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of distributed systems
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl

Responsibilities

• Design and build data ingestion pipelines for multi-modal recordings into structured datasets
• Develop search and discovery services for datasets across large catalogs
• Build data transformation and quality validation frameworks to enforce data quality
• Implement episode segmentation workflows for continuous session recordings
• Collaborate with science teams to integrate ML training workflows and notebooks
• Design and develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services in a distributed environment
• Contribute to metadata enrichment tooling and automated documentation generation
• Participate in code reviews and maintain operational excellence with monitoring and on-call duties
• Work in an agile CI/CD environment for resilient distributed systems
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity and data quality
