Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the IAM data plane team. You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable identity solutions used by AWS customers.

You'll collaborate across teams to deliver fault-tolerant software, participate in design reviews, and mentor others while advancing high-quality code in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• 4+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end — design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products.
• Research and implement solutions that deliver the best possible experiences for customers.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across AWS to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.
• Contribute to raising the engineering bar through code reviews, technical mentorship, and design discussions.
