The role focuses on building and maintaining the replication engine, collaborating across sources and targets, and optimizing data movement while ensuring reliability. You will work with AI coding assistants to accelerate development in a remote environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of production C++ experience with multithreading.
• Strong SQL and knowledge of DB internals, logs, locking, and query execution.
• Experience with ODBC/JDBC and data access layers.
• Experience working on a fully remote, distributed team and using AI coding assistants.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain core replication engine components, including capture and apply.
• Integrate with a wide range of sources and targets, from traditional databases to cloud data platforms.
• Optimize data movement across CPU, memory, I/O, and network while ensuring correctness and resilience.

• Collaborate with a small remote team and own features from design through production.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain core replication engine components, including capture and apply.
• Integrate with a wide range of sources and targets, from traditional databases to cloud data platforms.
• Optimize data movement across CPU, memory, I/O, and network while ensuring correctness and resilience.

Qualifications:

• Strong SQL and a deep understanding of database internals such as transaction logs, recovery, locking, and query execution.
• 5+ years of production C++ experience plus hands-on ODBC/JDBC and multithreading.
• Comfortable working independently on a fully remote, distributed team and using AI coding assistants effectively.
