Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and deliver features across the Workshop Studio platform, spanning content catalog, provisioning, and account fleet capacity. You will work across service boundaries, contribute to AI agent systems, and own operational health in production.

The role involves shaping end-to-end software delivery, collaborating with a diverse team, and maintaining high reliability in a large, ever-evolving AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing multi-tiered, distributed software applications and services.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build features that cut across WS services from customer requirements through production deployment.
• Participate in on-call rotation, investigate incidents, find root causes, and fix them with the team.
• Work on AI agent systems: integrations, data pipelines, agent infrastructure.
• Build APIs that let other teams consume WS's account provisioning.
• Write technical designs, review designs, incorporate feedback in proposals.
• Reduce operational toil through automation, alarms, and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pairing.
