Amazon is seeking skilled Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to solve scalable, complex problems in a customer-obsessed environment. Join the AMC SQL Assistant team at the intersection of AI and advertising analytics, shaping product direction from ground up with cross-team collaboration.

You will build high-quality, reliable software with emphasis on performance, ownership, and operational excellence, while delivering valuable insights to thousands of advertisers and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Solve difficult engineering problems with elegant and practical code.
• Take ownership, discuss and deliver on deep technical details with other engineers and across partner teams.
• Create plans, communicate requirements, negotiate priorities, and clarify success criteria.
• Define, deliver, and implement high quality, customer focused technical solutions.
• Provide clear verbal and written communication.
• Foster shared understanding to identify risks and meet business needs.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide actionable input.
• Raise the bar on operational excellence while meeting system SLAs.
