Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an engineer to contribute to the design, development, integration, testing and validation of low-level device driver software, firmware, and hardware/software interfaces for MSM ASIC chipsets.

You will review specifications and participate in design reviews to ensure compatibility and performance. Applicants with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field are welcome, including foreign equivalents.

General Summary

This individual possesses the solid engineering fundamentals and understanding with some supervision in the design, development, integration, testing and validation, and performance optimization of low-level device driver software, firmware and Hardware/Software interfaces for all new MSM ASIC chipsets. Reviews systems specifications, requirements and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Works on the design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Participates at design reviews and project meetings.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.

Pay range: $134,347.00 - $141,200.00/year
