Job summary

You will collaborate with UX, marketing and product teams to craft clinical tools and displays, apply SOLID design principles, and ensure quality through automated unit, functional and system tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of TCP, UDP, SOAP, REST, XMPP, JSON, XML, RTP, SIP.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, code review processes, Agile development methodologies.
• Some experience with client-side frameworks such as AngularJS.

Work Flexibility: Hybrid Stryker is looking for a talented, hands‑on Software Engineer to join our growing organization. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of user interfaces for a suite of products used by health care facilities all over the world. The Smart Hospital platform supports integration with internal and external systems and enables flexible clinical workflows through a common framework and rules engine. You will create work with user experience and marketing experts to craft new clinical tools and displays. This role is hybrid, with the expectation to be in office 3 days a week in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

• $77,700 - $129,500 USD

Work Flexibility Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co‑located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
