Job summary

Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking a Software Engineer to join the RDS Delivery Team. You will contribute to the development of the GTR platform, work in an Agile squad, and collaborate with regional teams and CoE to deliver scalable, compliant software solutions.

You will partner with architects, product managers, and end-users to craft and test software, while aligning with risk controls and corporate standards. The role supports a hybrid onsite/remote schedule in the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and AWS required.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and PostgreSQL preferred.

The Impact you will have in this role

Being a member of the RDS (Repository and Derivative Services) Delivery Team, you will be part of theApplication development of the GTR (Global Trade Repository) platform.

You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the other GTR regional teams (verticals) and the horizontals / CoE within the RDS group and across DTCC. You would actively participate and contribute on developing and delivering a robust and scalable platform solution as per the regulatory and client requirements.

The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, crafting, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle sophisticated business problems.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Contribute to the design of components or individual programs
• Provide production support for applications as needed
• Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
• Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success

• 4+ yrs of exp in Java, Spring, Snowflake, Postgress SQL, Amazon Web Services, EC2, S3, UNIX and related technologies
• Exposure to Amazon Q, Amazon Kiro
