You should be proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (Angular, React, Vue). TS/SCI with poly clearance is required; Bachelor's in CS or related field and 5 years of experience.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team and help build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for our web applications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about user experience, design systems, and modern front-end technologies. Work Schedule: M- F 40 hours a week.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks. Collaborate with UX/UI developers and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences. Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean, efficient code. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility. Implement responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain code quality through testing and reviews. Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
• Exposure to Agile development environments.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization and analytics tools.

Compensation Details

$180,000.00 - $200,000.00 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
