Title: Software Developer (Systems Software)

Location: Chantilly, VA

Clearance: TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph (required at the time of application)

Description

The Software Developer will serve in a lead role on a high-visibility team, providing technical leadership and development support for an integrated enterprise IT support model. This effort is focused on driving greater efficiency across the talent lifecycle and enabling the organization to better address strategic requirements related to learning and development, training compliance, foreign language development and retention, job advertising, candidate selection, and employee performance.

Applicants must have experience:

• as a lead on a team providing technical expertise and communications to the Sponsor.
• implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and agile methodology.
• proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.
• developing, maintaining, analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.
• in Java development

• developing and maintaining AWS environments and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development
• working with COTS products including ServiceNow
• with the full accreditation lifecycle.
• managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.
• developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
• developing and maintaining enterprise software, to include license renewals (where applicable), patching, and version update administration
