Avanza LLC is seeking a talented Software Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, and ensure code quality through testing and best practices. The role is hybrid and based near Arlington, VA, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge Microsoft technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI and other Power Platform tools.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and tools within the Microsoft ecosystem to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy innovative software applications that leverage the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 platform, and SharePoint experiences to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven apps, as well as Power Automate for workflow automation and Dataverse for secure data storage and management.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software applications using Microsoft development tools and technologies (specific technologies will depend on the project needs) (e.g., Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages).
• Utilize Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Integrate with existing systems and APIs.
• Deploy applications to production environments and monitor performance to ensure stability and scalability.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Microsoft development tools and Microsoft 365 platform functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI and other Power Platform tools.
• Experience working with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience with Microsoft Azure (a plus).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Development Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate for workflow orchestration, Dataverse for managing and securing business data, and Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform and its core services (e.g., SharePoint Online, Power BI, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook).
• Experience working with the Microsoft Graph API to access and manipulate data within Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for building custom extensions and solutions for SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Understanding of Microsoft identity platform (Azure Active Directory) for secure access control within applications.
