Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Software Developer to join our development team supporting mission-critical software and infrastructure. You will focus on web applications, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, helping modernize systems and improve developer tooling across Johnson Space Center projects.

Candidates should have a BS in CS and strong C#, .NET, Git, and SQL skills, with experience in Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, Git, and REST API fundamentals.
• Understanding of SQL and general software development practices.
• Ability to work in a security-minded environment with compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain web-based applications across several tech stacks, with a .NET focus.
• Help modernize legacy services by supporting containerization efforts (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and multi-language tooling
• Support security-focused practices including dependency scanning and SBOM generation
• Conduct unit testing, participate in peer code reviews, and support automated testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, participate in code reviews, and help improve internal developer workflows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives).
• Assist with technical documentation and user guidance for development tools
