SC Data Center, Inc. is a rapidly evolving technology company supporting Colony Brands, Inc. in Monroe, WI. As a Software Developer, you will design, build, and support scalable backend applications using C# and .NET, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native AWS services.

You will modernize legacy systems, develop microservices, and participate in architecture, design, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, reliable software for enterprise financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience developing software applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
• Experience with microservices and modern software architecture.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do:
As a Software Developer, you'll partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and fellow developers to design, build, and support scalable enterprise software solutions.
In this role, you will:
* Design and develop backend business applications using C# and .NET
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs supporting enterprise financial and payment systems
* Modernize legacy applications into cloud-native services running in AWS
* Develop scalable microservices and event-driven solutions

Qualifications

What it Takes:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Professional experience developing software applications using C# and .NET
* Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
* Experience developing cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)
* Experience with microservices, object-oriented design, and modern software architecture
* Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB
* Experience using Git and modern source control practices
* Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or similar DevOps tooling
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile development team
* Experience modernizing or replacing legacy applications is highly valued
* Experience with FinTech, payment processing, banking, or financial systems is a plus
