Job summary

SC Data Center, Inc. is a rapidly evolving technology company supporting Colony Brands, Inc. in Monroe, WI. As a Software Developer, you will design, build, and support scalable backend applications using C# and .NET, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native AWS services.

You will modernize legacy systems, develop microservices, and participate in architecture, design, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, reliable software for enterprise financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience developing software applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
• Experience with microservices and modern software architecture.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend business applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs supporting enterprise financial and payment systems.
• Modernize legacy applications into cloud-native services running in AWS.
• Develop scalable microservices and event-driven solutions.
• Collaborate on architecture, technical design, estimation, and Agile planning.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and development practices.
