Job summary

Saige Partners in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Software Developer to join our growing team. You will own design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of software products, working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS, strong experience in C#/.NET (or Java/Python), and hands-on cloud experience with Azure or AWS. You will influence architecture, write high-quality code, and deliver scalable applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Strong programming experience in C#/.NET or Java or Python.
  • Experience with SQL databases and relational database design.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Understanding of software development principles, OO programming, and application architecture.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and own projects from inception through completion.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Ability to quickly develop business and domain knowledge to deliver impactful software solutions.
  • Preferred: Experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Preferred: GPA 3.3 (or international equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of technical products and software solutions.

  • Evaluate and improve existing systems, applications, and processes by identifying opportunities for innovation and increased efficiency.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using modern development practices.
  • Take ownership of projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture through implementation and maintenance.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and development best practices to continuously improve solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.
  • Exercise sound technical judgment to solve complex problems and deliver business value.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external clients regarding technical solutions and project progress.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while helping drive continuous improvement and technical excellence.

This position is an onsite position based in Columbus, OH, ideally targeting $100k-$140k/base (negotiable based on experience).
