Job summary

Mujin is hiring for Robotics Software Developers to join the Fleet Management team. You will design, implement and test software for autonomous robots, focusing on task assignment, multi-agent motion planning and production-grade code that runs in real-time.

You will build interfaces between hardware and software for AMRs/AGVs, optimize scalable algorithms, and deploy in simulations and real machines. Preference for ROS/ROS2 and real-time systems expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field or PhD with education combination of 2+ years of experience in robotics software development, industrial automation, or similar industry.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Background in multi-agent pathfinding or task assignment in lifelong and online domains.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 and real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and maintain software for autonomous fleet management, including task assignment, multi-agent motion planning and plan execution frameworks.
• Build robust interfaces between hardware and software for AMRs/AGVs.
• Optimize algorithms for scaling and production system tradeoffs (e.g., battery management, AGV utilization).
• Write production-quality code that runs in near real-time and deploy solutions in simulation and real-world environments.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication between robots and enterprise platforms.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in software development.

Mujin Corp is looking for talented Robotics Software Developers to join our Fleet Management team to push the boundaries of autonomous robotic systems. You will developcutting-edgerobotics technology, including design, implementation, andtesting ofalgorithms that run onnumerousrobots in real-time. Our applications are safety critical and involve autonomous interactions with the surrounding world in an uncontrolled environment. You will test and deploy your work in simulation and the real world on various off-the-shelf and in-house robotics hardware. You will contribute to the development of ambitious and innovative projects as part of a dedicated team of world-class engineers.

Position Description:
