Job summary

Auria Space in Colorado Springs seeks a mid-level Software Developer to design, implement, and integrate CCS-C components for satellite command and control. You will automate telemetry procedures using TAO/TASO scripting and work with DoD-grade agile teams on complex systems.

At Auria Space you will collaborate with engineers, testers, and user support to update systems, resolve issues, and deliver architecture solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master's + 4+ years.
• Proficiency with TAO/TASO or Autonomous Satellite Operations scripting for automated control.
• Experience in agile system development; cross-team coordination among developers, testers, and support.
• Ability to isolate complex problems and document corrective actions across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, integrate, and document CCS-C software components.
• Develop mission-critical automation scripts to streamline satellite workflows and autonomous telemetry.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to support updates and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and present architecture concepts to customers.
• Support Data Products Development including APIs, databases, HMIs, and simulations.
