Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified candidates (US Citizens with active TOP SECRET clearance - a requirement on its Project with a Major Prime) for the following position for a federal agency.

Job Title: Software Developer - Mid-Level
Location: Huntsville, AL - fully ONSITE
Salary: based on experience and other qualifications. TOP SECRET clearance is required and the position is fully ONSITE
Job Description:

• An Active TOP SECRET clearance is REQUIRED
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Java Stack, AWS, and full-stack web applications in an Agile development environment
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT, Subversion, or TFS
• A GREAT Opportunity to learn to customize or use various GOTS and COTS products
• Work in a collaborative team environment
• Learn to present data from structured and unstructured data stores, integrating Hadoop/MapReduce, databases, or similar repositories
• Experience working with Oracle, MySQL, or other RDBMS
• A Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED

Our standard benefits include: 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO), including sick leave. Unused PTO will be paid out at the end of an employee's anniversary. We also provide 2 floating holidays and 8 public holidays, which expire at the end of each year of service. The company covers 50% of health and dental insurance for all full-time employees, with dependents available at additional cost. Coverage begins after 30 days or the first of the month following 30 days of employment. All paperwork must be completed within the first 30 days. W-2 employees without benefits are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) plan after 90 days, with a 4% company match and immediate vesting.
