As a Software Developer - Mid-Level, you will be an integral part of the software engineering department supporting innovative order management solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Developer - Mid-Level

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Responsibilities

• Perform complex software design tasks and technical analysis on scalable and high-performance order management systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert on server-side modules of the order management system.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure development practices align with company standards and policies.
• Lead system design, specification development, testing, debugging, and documentation efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, and web/internet-based programming (both client and server side).
• Proficiency with object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD), distributed systems, real-time processing, and relational databases.
• Experience with concurrency, multi-threading, scaling, Java Garbage Collection, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns (GoF).
• Experience working within agile, test-driven development environments and familiarity with Unix/Linux systems.
