ManpowerGroup is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our client’s security‑focused software team in the US. You will design, develop and maintain secure Java applications and microservices, with emphasis on coding standards and proactive security improvements.

The role requires 6–7 years of Java development, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, plus experience with security scanning tools and AZDO.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 21 and Java 8 output), Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with application security scanning tools such as Sonatype, Fortify and Web Inspect.
• Familiarity with AZDO or similar agile ticketing systems.
• Strong SQL and cloud experience, with Azure as a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer IV-, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting the Security and Application Development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to security and coding challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.
