Job summary

APPTAD, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Java developer to design, test, and deliver robust server-side applications using J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate. You will collaborate daily with global Product Owners and IT partners in an Agile/DevOps setting, ensuring architecture aligns with enterprise standards.

The role requires a Bach‑degree in CS/Engineering and knowledge of financial markets or banking domains. In-person for final interviews; 11+ month duration with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's (BS/BE) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Domain Exposure: Knowledge of Financial Markets, Banking, or Wealth Management.
• Strong server-side development experience with Java/J2EE frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, BAs, and IT partners in Agile/DevOps.
• Proficiency in TDD and code quality tooling (JUnit/JProfiler).

Core Responsibilities

Technical Requirements

• Data & Messaging: SQL (Sybase/DB2 preferred), XML, XPath, XSLT, JSON.
