Job summary

AmTrust North America offers an internship to build foundational IT and software development skills within our Insurance IT team in Ohio. You will work closely with the Software Developer team, gaining hands-on experience with ASP.NET, SQL, and version control workflows while being mentored by professionals.

You’ll contribute to real projects, interact with analysts and leadership, and participate in production-like environments to understand the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of object-oriented development concepts.
• Preferable .NET experience (C# and VB).
• Rising Senior (graduating December 2027 or May 2028).

Responsibilities

• Handle enhancements and bug fixes on existing ASP.NET web sites or assist on newer projects.
• Document work and what was fixed via tickets.
• Write beginner to intermediate SQL queries to consume in the application.
• Manage code changes with Git branches.
• Interface with business analysts to discuss timelines and requirements for projects/enhancements.
• Engage with the data work stream through all design, implementation, testing and deployment phases.
• Define, assemble, and present technical data deliverables and work products.
• Lead internal meetings and present/defend analyses to stakeholders; participate in client calls.
• Assist with other ongoing projects as assigned.
