Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Software Engineer in Test in Westlake, TX to join a team focused on CI automation, test data ecosystems, and collaboration with development and business partners. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests and tools across the full stack, applying test-driven design and best practices.

The role requires 10+ years of testing/development experience across UI, APIs, and data stores, with proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and frameworks like Karate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Testing/Development experience automating across UI, APIs and data stores.
• Proven experience in Java, Python, SQL.
• Experience with Karate and Playwright or other test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and internal utilities.
• Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with other technical resources.
• Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards.
• Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools.
• Understand requirements and apply TDD concepts.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platforms.
• Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities.
