Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Software Developer III to design, code, and develop new financial applications and web-based systems.

The role requires 5 to 8 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment, following the SDLC. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Experience with core and web-based systems and SDLC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Responds to end user trouble calls to resolve routine software problems remotely when possible.
• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates moderately complex core and web applications.
• Provides tier III technical support for staff on core and web applications.
• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies application systems including encoding, testing, and documentation.
