Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Selenium Python Automation Engineer to develop and implement robust test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Python, and advanced testing methodologies, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop advanced test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
• Design and execute complex test strategies for web applications.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing into the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment workflows.

Mandatory Skills and Proficiencies

• Test Automation: Deep understanding of test automation lifecycle, expertise in creating reusable, modular, and maintainable test scripts, and experience with robust error handling and retry mechanisms.
• Tools & Frameworks: 5+ years proficiency in Selenium, Appium, and Python, including familiarity with PyTest, unittest, and CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong skills in debugging test scripts, frameworks, and environments, with proficiency in browser developer tools and log analysis.
• Test Implementation: Understanding of different test types, maintaining test suite stability, and handling flaky tests. Experience with performance and load testing tools.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as ISTQB, Python (PCEP), or C++.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools like Testim or Mabl, TDD/BDD methodologies, and emerging testing trends like shift-left testing.
