Job summary

DSA seeks a System Administrator to sustain and administer ACWS systems, operating environments, and platform services for secure mission applications. The role focuses on patching, access management, monitoring, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and SOPs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of Windows/Linux experience in production environments, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years supporting Windows, Linux, application servers, enterprise platforms, and cloud-based production environments.
• Experience with patching, configuration management, access controls, monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, security hardening, incident response, and operational support.
• CompTIA Security+ and platform certification (e.g. Microsoft, Linux, or AWS certification)
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

System Administrator

Summary:

Supports system administration by maintaining servers, operating systems, access controls, monitoring, patching, configuration, and operational readiness for secure mission application environments.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 5+ years supporting Windows, Linux, application servers, enterprise platforms, and cloud-based production environments.
• Experience with patching, configuration management, access controls, monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, security hardening, incident response, and operational support.
• CompTIA Security+ and platform certification (e.g. Microsoft, Linux, or AWS certification)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army, DoD, acquisition, contracting, financial, or mission enterprise systems.
• Experience with DoD, Army, IL5/IL6, RMF/ATO, cArmy, or federal enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting Appian, Java middleware, databases, monitoring tools, or cloud-hosted applications.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$105,000 - $115,000 USD
