Job description

Accutive FinTech helps banks and credit unions across North America modernize how they serve their members and customers. We deliver digital onboarding, core banking, fraud prevention, and lending services for financial institutions. We partner with leading fintech platforms to help our clients open accounts faster, lend smarter, and compete with digital-first challengers.

We are an established, fast-growing company that operates with a startup mindset: lean, fast moving, and hungry. That means real ownership of your work, visible impact, and the chance to help shape how we go to market, paired with the stability and client base of a proven business. If you want to build programs end to end rather than feed a machine, this is that kind of role.

About The Role

Accutive is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing FinTech practice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting digital customer journeys and workflow solutions using the Temenos Journey Manager (TJM) platform. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver innovative digital experiences that drive customer engagement, streamline operations, and support business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, working directly with clients, and helping organizations modernize their digital banking and financial services experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing and internal workflows using Temenos Journey Manager.
  • Configure digital forms, business processes, integrations, and user experiences within the TJM platform.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Integrate TJM with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and integration issues.
  • Support testing efforts, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Optimize application performance, security, reliability, and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and design specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
  • Work closely with DevOps, QA, business analysts, and client stakeholders throughout project delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation, business process management, and digital customer journey development.
  • Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.

Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in banking, fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements.
  • Experience supporting digital banking processes such as account opening, onboarding, lending, or customer servicing.

Why Join Us

  • Genuine ownership of the work you produce across a high-impact marketing team.
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership and respected partner organizations.
  • Fully remote within Canada and United States (Pacific to Eastern Time Zone).
  • A fast-growing division where your work is visible and your ideas get acted on.
  • Unlimited PTO
