As a Software Engineer, you will build and maintain full-stack applications spanning user interfaces, backend services, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, design, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet business and customer needs. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the development lifecycle, from translating product designs into responsive experiences to improving APIs, databases, deployment processes, and application performance. The position is remote, with the expectation that you can work within Central Time business hours. The anticipated annual salary range is $95,000 to $100,000, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors.
You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least three years of full-stack software development experience. You bring strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, REST APIs, and JSON, as well as experience designing or working with SQL and PostgreSQL databases. Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments, including services such as Amazon S3, is important for success in this position. You are comfortable using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD workflows. You understand Agile development practices and can communicate technical concepts clearly while working with colleagues across disciplines. Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage, as is familiarity with preparing and deploying mobile applications through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET and C#. Build and enhance full-stack applications, translating Figma designs into responsive, accessible user interfaces. Deploy and manage applications across AWS and Azure environments, and contribute to the effective use of cloud services, including S3. Design, implement, and optimize SQL and PostgreSQL databases to support secure, dependable application performance. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning, contributing thoughtful recommendations and maintainable code. Use Azure DevOps to support source control, build automation, and CI/CD processes. Work with QA and engineering partners to support test automation, investigate defects, troubleshoot performance issues, and improve system reliability. Coordinate with product and design stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and deliver solutions aligned with user and business priorities.
This opportunity offers a competitive annual salary of $95,000 to $100,000 and the potential for immediate equity participation. You will join a well-funded, growing startup at an early stage, with the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious product and help shape technology intended to improve payment processing. The role is remote for candidates able to work within Central Time hours, with close collaboration across engineering, product, design, and quality teams.
