Responsibilities

• Revises software using tables, profiles, and vendor tools to reflect changes.
• Follows coding and development standards.
• Produces technical and functional documentation for new programs or changes.
• Tests and debugs software to ensure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.
• Adapts to multiple technologies; stays updated on new tech.
• Provides ongoing system support as required.

Software Developer

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range: $37.70 - $56.55 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

What You'll Be Doing

Under direct supervision, modifies applications programs from detailed specifications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs. Develops, implements, and maintains low complexity application software using established credit union standards and specifications. Codes new applications programs to meet desired user functionality. Revises application software using tables, profiles, and other vendor supplied customization tools to reflect approved changes specified by users. Follows general and credit union specific coding and development standards. Builds technical and functional documentation for new programs or changes to existing programs as required. Test and debug new and existing application software to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results. Ability to adapt to multiple technologies. Remains knowledgeable of new and emerging technology by researching technical materials, attending seminars and training classes, and consulting with personnel from other industries. Provides ongoing system support as required.

Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions.
