Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Software Developer for a contract role to build a PCARD application. You’ll work remotely, reporting to the project manager and work lead, and participate in kickoff and daily standups.

The position focuses on .NET, SQL, React, TypeScript, and Azure services, with emphasis on API development and CI/CD using Azure DevOps. You’ll contribute to quality and security requirements throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of software development experience or a Master’s degree.
• 6 years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience building PCARD applications and reporting on status.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCARD application per outlined requirements.
• Identify and document issues; provide status updates.
• Participate in project reviews and standups as scheduled.
• Attend kickoff meetings to review scope and pre-plan activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, health, and quality requirements.
• Document issues/risks and share with contacts; generate weekly reports.

Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a Software Developer for a contract position to develop a PCARD application. In this role, the developer will be responsible for creating a new PCARD application based on defined requirements, reporting on task status, and participating in project meetings.

The selected candidate will work remotely during MST hours and report to the project manager and work lead for assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop PCARD application per outlined requirements.
• Identify, elevate, and document issues as necessary.
• Participate in project review meetings and standups as defined by the Project Manager and Work Lead.
• Attend an initial kickoff meeting to review scope, set expectations, and perform other pre-planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, health, and quality assurance requirements.
• Document all issues and risks and provide them to the designated points of contact.
• Generate weekly status reports for key stakeholders and project sponsors.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience, a Master’s degree
• 6 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.

Technical Skills

• Experience in developing software in .Net
• Experience in developing with SQL
• Experience in using APIs
• Experience in developing with React
• Experience in developing with TypeScript
• Experience in developing with C#

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira for task tracking.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit testing for both back-end and front-end web solutions.
• Experience with ORMs like Dapper or Entity Framework Core, and Cloud & Microservices.
• Experience deploying applications in the Azure cloud.
• Understanding of Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Azure Kubernetes Services).
• Experience with containerization (Docker).
• Experience working with AI for agentic code development.
• Experience working with OAuth solutions such as Azure Entra.
