Job description

PlanIT Group is seeking a Software Developer for our Federal customer in the Eagan, MN area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and technical support. The contractor must enhance and support these applications and create new ones as needed.

Job Details

• Location: Raleigh, NC or remote
• Start Date: 05/19/25
• Resume Submission Deadline: 05/06/25
• Duration: One year plus extensions

Responsibilities

1. Support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and technical support.
2. Enhance and support existing production applications and develop new applications as needed.
3. Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
4. Follow client policies based on the Software Delivery Framework and secure coding practices.
5. Provide on-call and after-hours support for production systems.
6. Collaborate with end-users to ensure needs are met and managed positively.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.9, especially Financials modules like Purchasing, AR, AP, FA, PA, GL.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle Financial modules.
• Strong background in implementing complex business requirements and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of payment processes, EFT, NACHA, and related methods.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like VersionOne and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency, with residence in the U.S. for the past 5 years.

Educational Requirements

A degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field is preferred.
