Job summary

Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) seeks an experienced software application supervisor to lead a skilled development team and deliver high-quality software solutions in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Agile principles and tools (Scrum, Kanban), strong project-management skills, and a proven ability to guide architecture, design, and implementation while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in information technology or equivalent.
• Education and/or experience requirements may be substituted by certifications as stated in the note.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and set goals for a highly skilled team.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members for professional development.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, design, and implementation.
• Manage project plans, timelines and resources for software delivery.
• Ensure high-quality software through QA processes including unit/integration/UAT testing.
• Track performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver software on time, within budget, to required quality.
• Maintain awareness of current technologies and best practices.
• Address conflicts promptly and professionally.
• Provide regular coaching and guidance to team members.
