Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead engineers focused on CI/CD pipelines, release management, and build engineering. You’ll own the systems that keep the software delivery engine running from code commit to production deployment.

You’ll drive pipeline health, reduce build times, and raise release velocity by partnering with development, operations, and leadership to define a pragmatic roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical leadership and project management across the full software development lifecycle.
• 5+ years of software engineer or related experience; strong collaboration across teams.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Knowledge of SDLC, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and live-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipeline health and reliability metrics.
• Define and refine release processes with cross-team coordination.
• Lead design and optimization of build systems and tooling.
• Define vision for CI/CD and evaluate tools and best practices.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing build/release team.
• Collaborate with software, QA, and operations to improve velocity.
• Establish runbooks, on-call processes, and incident response.
• Balance long-term platform modernization with near-term needs.
