Job summary

Solerity, Inc. seeks a Mid-Level Software and Database Developer to support IGC software development, modernization, and database work for global logistics. You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain secure components including RESTful APIs, microservices, and data-layer interfaces.

The role emphasizes SQL development, data modeling, performance tuning, and database modernization in support of critical systems with security standards such as DoD RMF. Collaboration in Agile teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of professional software or database development experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices or enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL development skills with complex queries, views and stored procedures.
• Experience with relational database design, data modeling and integration.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes; understanding Agile, DevSecOps and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise application and database components.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, schemas, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Design logical and physical data models for reporting, analytics and integration.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, data quality, performance, and integration issues; tune queries.
• Develop data loading, transformation, validation, deployment, and environment scripts.
• Support database modernization including AWS Aurora and data-access components.
• Apply secure coding practices and adhere to DoD cybersecurity and RMF requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release activities with documentation.
