Job summary

Solerity is seeking a Mid-Level Software and Database Developer to support IGC software development, modernization, and database activities. You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain secure components with emphasis on SQL, data modeling, and application-to-database integration.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, optimizing complex SQL, and participating in Agile ceremonies. Hybrid work with on-site Scott AFB, IL, may be required for certain activities.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of professional software-development or database-development experience.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, microservices, or enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries, joins, views, stored procedures, functions, and indexes.
• Experience with relational database design, data modeling, database integration, and application-to-database connectivity.
• Experience using Git and working within CI/CD and software-release processes.
• Understanding of Agile software development, testing, secure coding, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise application and database components, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Create and maintain data models supporting application, reporting, and analytics needs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, data-quality, performance, and integration issues; perform query tuning and indexing.
• Develop scripts for data loading, transformation, validation, and deployment.
• Support database modernization, including Aurora and schema conversion, under migration direction.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy changes per release processes.
• Apply secure coding and DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and STIG requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
