Power3 Solutions in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Software Data Engineer 2 to develop and maintain AI-enabled software systems. You will design, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models and tools aligned with client needs, while collaborating with stake-holders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.

Required TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a strong background in software engineering with AI-focused experience.

• Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with FSP.

We are hiring a Software Data Engineer 2 to work in Fort Meade, MD. Position location is subjectto change based on central MD client's needs.

Required:

TS/SCI with a Polygraph

As a Software Data Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon AI-related requirements. You will develop software solutions for AI-driven automation and efficiency gains, and design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and tools tailored to the operational needs of the customer. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement mission requirements into technical solutions.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university; or zero (0) years of experience with a qualifying Master's or PhD degree. Three (3) years of Software Engineering experience with a high school diploma or GED would also be acceptable.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with FSP

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• Able to work in a collaborative environment as a team player.
• Familiarity with commercial and open-source AI/ML frameworks and platforms
• Experience designing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs)
• Ability to analyze data structures and data objects
