Software Certification Engineer

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field
• Minimum of one year experience with RTCA DO-178C or similar safety‑critical software process
• Proficiency in C programming
• Ability to work with target hardware, including lab bench equipment for debugging and analysis
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and results‑oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with C# or Python for PC application software
• Familiarity with VHDL and RTCA DO-254 standards
• Knowledge of formal coding standards and safety‑critical design considerations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• At least one year of relevant experience in safety‑critical software development and certification processes

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work hands‑on in lab environments with test equipment
• Willingness to support prototype testing and troubleshooting on target hardware
• Ability to efficiently coordinate design data, verification, and compliance activities
