Job summary

System High Corporation seeks a Senior Software Assurance (SwA) Analyst to join the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) team in the United States. The role focuses on SwA policy development, engineering guidelines, and SDLC best practices in collaboration with JFAC.

The qualified candidate will lead assessments, coordinate with DoD and program offices, and ensure compliance across quality, safety, and mission assurance domains. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Security/CI fields preferred
  • 12+ years missile defense-related or other complex DoD program experience
  • Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems
  • Over 5 years SwA experience
  • Over 5 years DoD Acquisition Security experience
  • Over 5 years coordinating policy/technical issues with outside agencies/OSD level coordination
  • Clearance: TS

Responsibilities

Job description

Senior Software Assurance Analyst

System High is looking for an experienced and motivated senior level Software Assurance (SwA) Analyst to join our team at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The analyst will provide SwA expertise and lead functions to develop and implement SwA policies and engineering guidelines in alignment with the Joint Federated Assurance Center (JFAC) "best practices" throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC).

The applicant will perform functions to include:

  • Participate in JFAC and Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) activities and working groups and assess compliance with DoD guidelines and federal law to minimize risk to program capability.
  • Support the Government lead with conducting MDA Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance Assessments and compliance assessments.
  • Support and/or perform quality or compliance assessments of MDA contractors. Coordinate with MDA Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance and/or program offices on all proposed assessment schedules to determine the level of effort required and suitable timeframes.
  • Facilitate programs as they conduct criticality analysis (e.g., identifying/validating Mission Critical Functions, Critical Components), facilitate and support program validation of the identified threat and vulnerability, facilitate and support program validation of the identified SwA threat and vulnerability, and support associated system security engineering and Anti-Tamper functions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Proficiency with standard All-Source intelligence research tools such as: Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), Query Tree, CIDNE, M3 / AMHS, Analyst Notebook, open-source research, Pulse, QLIX, and / or Google Earth
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of DIA Analytic Tradecraft Standards
  • Experience working in a production center or fusion cell
  • Authored or coauthored products that have been disseminated to the intelligence community
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields preferred
  • Experience: 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project
  • Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems
  • Over 5 years' SwA experience
  • Over 5 years DoD Acquisition Security experience
  • Over 5 years' experience coordinating policy/technical issues with
  • outside agencies/OSD level coordination
  • Clearance: TS
