The role focuses on ELPositions, license reconciliation, and leveraging tools like ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or Snow License Manager to drive optimization and cost savings. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAM/ITAM, Licensing, or Software Procurement experience.
• Strong expertise in Effective License Position creation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or Snow License Manager.
• Experience managing software compliance programs and audit activities.
• Knowledge of licensing models including Perpetual, Subscription, and SaaS.
• Experience with major publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, or SAP.
• Exposure to procurement tools such as Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow Procurement.
• Strong Excel, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Effective License Positions (ELP) by reconciling entitlements with deployment data.
• Own software compliance activities, including audit readiness and true-up remediation.
• Support internal and external software audits with entitlement and usage evidence.
• Utilize ServiceNow SAM Pro for discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and license management.
• Drive software optimization initiatives through usage analysis and license reclamation.
• Manage renewals, contract lifecycle activities, procurement workflows, and approvals.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and support negotiations, including co-termination strategies.
• Deliver accurate reporting on inventory, compliance status, consumption trends, and renewal risks.
