Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Software Architect for a hybrid role based in Albany, NY. You will lead the SDLC for complex projects, modernize legacy systems, coordinate among multiple technical groups, and implement new capabilities in real time.
Responsibilities include development, testing, performance tuning, and mentoring staff. The role requires extensive experience with SOA/J2EE, IBM WebSphere/CP4BA stack, and OpenShift, with a strong focus on scalable, secure architectures.

$100,000–$150,000 Annually

The resource would need to report on-site (Albany) for the first week. Position location is hybrid 50% on-site either Albany or Manhattan.

The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for complex projects. The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Specific tasks will include:
Software Architect – Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
