Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in Albany, NY is seeking a Software Solution Architect to lead design across the SDLC for complex projects. The role includes modernization of legacy systems, coordinating technical solutions among teams, and implementing real-time changes requested by users.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with IBM WebSphere CP4BA/CP4I, Java, SOA/J2EE, and OpenShift, and will mentor staff while delivering scalable enterprise solutions in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience in designing processes (Choreography/Orchestration Processes) using WebSphere Process Server, IBM CP4BA, IBM CP4I.
• 84 months experience in Design, Development and Management of Business Rules Architecture System with ADS in CP4BA.
• 84 months experience with SOA Component Development Architecture using J2EE technologies and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog.
• 84 Months experience in system analysis and design for multi-tiered transactional systems and documenting complex components.
• 84 months experience with Java in IBM development environments using RAD, WID and running on WAS/WPS.
• 36 months experience with IBM OpenShift Cloud Platform and Micro Services Architecture.
• 84 months experience with IBM MQ Series, IBM CP4I MQ.
• 84 months experience in IBM DB2 Data Modeling and performance tuning.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for complex projects. The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Specific tasks will include:

• Guiding the technical design for modernization of legacy systems.
• Coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups.
• Making changes in multiple systems in real time to enable changes requested by user group.
• Implementing technical solutions.
• Developing tax processing system components and maintaining existing processing systems.
• Supporting production tasks including analysis of issue, proposing and implementing solutions for defect resolution.
• Coordinating with development team on development activities and integration testing.
• Developing technical design documents and program specifications.
• Guiding requirements gathering sessions.
• Guiding the analysis of requirements and system design work.
• Coding and performing unit and integration tests of programming assignments.
• Writing and tuning SQL.
• Supporting user testing efforts.
• Performance tune new and existing applications.
• Mentoring less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications:

• 84 months experience in designing processes (Choreography/Orchestration Processes) using technologies Like WebSphere Process Server (WPS), IBM CP4BA (BAW – IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation), IBM CP4I (IBM Cloud Pak for Integration).
• 84 months experience in Design, Development and Management of Business Rules Architecture System involving Rules Entry UI System invoking portable Runtime Engine deployable in WPS (WebSphere Process Server), Decision Service Design and Development using ADS (Automation Decision Services – IBM Cloud Pak for Automation CP4BA).
• 84 months experience with SOA Component Development Architecture using J2EE Technologies (JMS, CTG, IBM EAD4J, JADE, Spring Framework, BPEL, IBM SCA/SDO Component Architecture) and working with develop tools like Elastic, Jenkins, GIT lab and JFROG.
• 84 Months Experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
• 84 months experience with Java Programming in an IBM Development Environment using IBM’s Rational Application Developer (RAD), WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) and using WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/ WebSphere Process Server as Runtime Environments.
• 36 months experience using IBM Red hat OpenShift Cloud Platform and Micro Services Architecture.
• 84 months of experience in Java Messaging Services using IBM MQ Series, IBM CP4I MQ (IBM Cloud Pak for Integration).
• 84 months of experience in IBM DB2 Data Modeling, creating logical Data Models, performance tuning of applications interacting with database systems.
