Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development firm, seeks a Senior IBM Integration / Java Developer for a hybrid role in Albany, NY. You will design, develop, and maintain tax/audit systems and integration workflows using IBM middleware, CP4I/CP4BA, and OpenShift.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in government taxation or audit environments, strong Java/J2EE experience, and a track record with J2EE SOA components, BPM/ADS, and DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Government Taxation or Audit systems.
• 7+ years designing Choreography/Orchestration with WPS/CP4BA/CP4I.
• 7+ years building Business Rules Architecture and ADS.
• 7+ years using J2EE with JMS, CTG, EAD4J, JADE, Spring, BPEL, SCA/SDO.
• 7+ years with OpenShift and Microservices.
• 7+ years with Java Messaging Services and IBM MQ/CP4I MQ.
• 7+ years with IBM DB2 — data modeling and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IBM middleware/integration solutions.
• Lead SOA component development using Java and IBM stacks.
• Implement DevOps practices with Jenkins, GitLab, and JFrog.
• Design multi-tier transactional systems with comprehensive technical docs.

Job Title: Senior IBM Integration / Java Developer

Location: Albany, NY

Position Type: Direct W2

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience working with a Government Taxation or Audit organization, including technical design, development, maintenance, and end-user support of tax/audit systems.
• 7+ years of experience designing Choreography and Orchestration processes using:
  • IBM WebSphere Process Server (WPS)
  • IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA/BAW)
  • IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I)
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing Business Rules Architecture, including Rules Entry UI, Portable Runtime Engine, WPS deployment, Decision Services, and Automation Decision Services (ADS).
• 7+ years of experience with SOA Component Development Architecture using J2EE technologies such as:
  • JMS
  • CTG
  • IBM EAD4J
  • JADE
  • Spring Framework
  • BPEL
  • IBM SCA/SDO
• Experience with development and DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog, and Elastic.
• 7+ years of experience in system analysis and design for multi-tier transactional systems, including preparation of technical documentation for complex component-based systems.
• 7+ years of Java programming experience in an IBM development environment using:
  • IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD)
  • WebSphere Integration Developer (WID)
  • WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
  • WebSphere Process Server (WPS)
• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Microservices Architecture.
• 7+ years of experience with Java Messaging Services, including IBM MQ Series and IBM CP4I MQ.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM DB2, including data modeling, logical data models, SQL, and database/application performance tuning.
